dr Tomasz Kalaga
dr Tomasz Kalaga - studiował literaturoznawstwo na University of Western Australia w Perth, Zachodniej Australii oraz Uniwersytecie Śląskim w Katowicach. Anglista, teoretyk literatury, zajmuje się studiami nad interpretacją w granicznej sferze pomiędzy literaturą a filozofią. Krąg jego zainteresowań badawczych obejmuje teorię i praktykę hermeneutyczną, semiotykę kultury i literatury, filozofię nauk ścisłych oraz dziedziny hermetyczne w ujęciu antropologicznym, kulturoznawczym i filozoficznym. Jest autorem wielu artykułów naukowych z zakresu teorii literatury, przekładów oraz monografii dotyczącej problematyki poprawności interpretacji tekstu i znaczenia. Wykładał gościnnie na licznych uniwersytetach europejskich, między innymi w Wielkiej Brytanii, Hiszpanii, Finlandii, Szwecji i Rumunii, współorganizował kilkanaście konferencji międzynarodowych i krajowych. Jest członkiem Rady Naukowej wydawnictwa Cambridge Scholars Publishing w zakresie poetyki i teorii literatury oraz członkiem stowarzyszeń naukowych The Hermenutics Exchange i The Society for Ricoeur Studies.
