The course provides the students with theoretical perspectives on intercultural encounters, as well as prepares them for such experiences on a practical level. Students study the concepts of culture, multiplicity, multi-nationality, ethnicity and cross-cultural understanding, being exposed to a variety of perspectives and voices present in the modern global society. The workshop is conducted over the backdrop of the specificity of Polish culture, and as such, is also intended to help the students find themselves in the reality of their host country for the duration of their stay.
